I am writing a liturgy called Mass for the End of the World for Mercy Seat church in NE Minneapolis. I will be in Minneapolis for four Sundays in March to perform (present?) the liturgy with members of The Small Cities. Eventually, I'll have a site up where people can listen to it as I write it, but the demos are in sad shape at this point.

I am still in that in between stage here. I have not done much official work on this page lately because I've been writing and working on several different projects. I have now put up the entire This is How I Discovered Gold LP and The Jose Canseco EP up for streaming. You can also continue to listen to the demos for the album that will probably never be finished nor released but on which I enjoy working, The End is Nigh, which will stream if you click on "demos" to the right. In addition, you can still download the Wedding Covers cd for free. Yes, I am that nice.

I haven't done much updating on this site as I'd been doing a lot of wedding preparation over the last couple of months. Understandable, right? I've been talking about a covers record for some time now. I decided to make a Wedding Covers album with music written for the ceremony and several covers I recorded for the occasion. It was given away as a wedding favor, but I decided to let everyone download the songs for free. You can read about the music and download the songs here.

That said, the next record I'm focusing on is the country record I associated with the Rapture City Ramblers name, but in all reality all the music will probably be merged back to the Librarians name. The record is half written and arranged and I have quite a bit of work to do, but I'm quite happy and proud with working in this new medium with only a handful of instruments and nothing but my laptop.

Thanks to Thad at Valley Hill Design, we know have a jukebox player to stream music. On it, you'll find music from the Jose Canseco EP, This is How I Discovered Gold and the demos for an upcoming and quite informal covers record I'm working on.

Welcome to the new and improved website. Let me know if you're having any problems. Currently, I'm working on writing and recording several different projects (that and planning my wedding). Eventually, there will be a free, downloadable covers record. For now, you can stream some of the songs on our myspace page.
